First we want to thank you for the prayers and financial support you have provided. In my (Paul's) opinion, transitions are the hardest for maintaining a perspective that reflects God's thoughts and agenda. If the next step is not spelled out tangibly, then we are relegated to moving forward in faith. You may be asking, "Isn't that what it's all about?" Well, yes it is and it certainly sounds silly saying it here as I try to create a coherent thought. Bridget and I know from experience the importance of daily seeking God and His mind through prayer and looking into His word. In addition to our daily time with God, your encouragement enables us to stay aligned with Him. Lately I have been reading Joshua chapter one which takes place just before Joshua led the Israelites across the river and into the promised land. God said to Joshua, and he has been saying the same thing to me, "Be strong and courageous." God tells Joshua twice! I'm certain Joshua caught the emphasis; I know I have.

One new development for us is the engagement of our daughter, Joy, to Andrew Radke. We weren't surprised, but were very happy when Joy and Andrew called with the news. They have thoughtfully considered marriage. We are enthusiastic about what the Lord is doing in their lives. In the process we have enjoyed getting to know Andrew and his family. Preparations are well underway for a wedding on August 12th this summer.
Joy and Andrew Radke announce their engagement.
I (Bridget) am doing a Bible study with some gals on the Old Testament priesthood. In my journal on February 14th I wrote, "In Exodus 31 God calls men to craft the furniture and utensils of the Tabernacle and the priests' garments. The key verse for me was Exodus 31:3 "And I have filled him (Bezalel) with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship." Isn't that just like God? What He calls us to do He equips us to do. His Holy Spirit is in us, helping us and empowering us all along the way. It is not always easy, but it is a joy to walk in step with the Spirit and fulfill what God planned for this stage of our life.
Joe VonDoloski, Director of Logos Charter School, & Bridget.
A couple of days after that journal entry, I received a phone call in the afternoon as I was exercising in my sweats. It was the director of Logos Charter School offering me a job. He wanted me to come to the school right then so I could start work the next day. I quickly changed, hopped in the truck and rushed over to the director's office. The school's unique mission is to provide support to home school parents and students. I am working part time as the school's state achievement test administrator and taking care of all related details. My other responsibility is to assist two families with their studies. During the training I felt like I was climbing a rock wall. Even now it continues to be a steep learning curve. This is a huge change for me, but I know God called me and He promises to enable me. I am enjoying the staff, parents and students at Logos.
Answers to prayer - job for Bridget, sold our truck and were able to buy two vehicles, funds to meet our expenses, and living accomodations.
Pray for - direction from God about our involvement in the aviation program at the Hospital Clinica Biblica in San Jose, Costa Rica.
Serving Him,
Paul and Bridget
