Three
weeks ago a gentleman called my
boss about a helicopter parked two hangers away from AeroVital’s in
San Jose, Costa Rica. When this gentleman heard about our mission to
provide emergency medical flights, support community development
projects and help those in isolated regions of the country, he
approached AeroVital about possibly making his aircraft available to us.
The Lord works in
mysterious ways and the result is that we might have the use of a
helicopter at a fraction of the cost. Being in Oregon I don't know
many details but I can tell you it is a UH-1H (Huey). The details of
this potential relationship are currently being worked on by my director
and the gentleman with the helicopter.
A bridge building project we are
associated with in Costa Rica has been delayed because the
company contracted to fly in the materials and personnel doubled
their fees. As I write funds are being raised to move ahead on this
project. In the future, with our own helicopter we hope to avoid these type of
delays.
With my part of the helicopter search over, I have
transitioned to updating our brochure with current photos and text.
Bridget built us a Web site - theabbotts.webs.com and I will
soon have more business cards. The link to our blog, http://paulnbridget- thejourney.blogspot.com/ is on our web site also. Bridget is really good at producing
these kinds of things and has done a wonderful job. I am blessed to
have such a talented wife since I am challenged in the promotion and
public speaking department. Now that I am armed with quality video and pictures I would be glad to meet with you
for “show and tell” about what God is doing in Costa Rica and
what opportunities there are to be a part of what is happening. Call
((541) 261-8695 or email paulnbridge@gmail.com
me if you want to know more.
Pray:
Funds for the current bridge project
The Lords leading concerning the above mentioned UH-1H helicopter.
